It's an exciting time to join the team and be part of our ongoing growth ambitions. Your role as a Sales Consultant is to be the first point of contact for all enquiries, demonstrating an in-depth knowledge of the local property market and an ability to proactively match applicant needs to suitable properties, both on and off-market. By building great relationships with our buyers through regular contact, you also proactively identify potential sellers in our buyer database, generating new business for the branch and other teams. You’ll have excellent communication and relationship-building skills both face-to-face, on the phone and via email and be experienced at developing customer relationships and identifying and understanding the needs of potential customers. You’ll ensure compliance with industry regulations and Rettie brand standards and be committed to delivering an exceptional customer experience. About you This is an ideal role for someone with experience in a customer facing role who can show confidence in interacting with clients in person, over the phone and via email. Key responsibilities Core Responsibilities - Adhering to the agreed Sales systems and processes, specifically: Meeting and exceeding targets for generating market appraisal appointments and contributing proactively to the branch targets as defined in the business plan. Building relationships with applicants through regular contact and promotion of the Rettie Group services to convert them into valuations for own/other branches Be the first point of contact for all inbound enquiries (email, phone and in person), qualifying their requirements in detail and recording this information accurately in our dat a base ( Reapit ) Responding to Home Report and brochure/property information requests Carrying out property matches in Reapit for all new property launches, and following up by phone and email in order to generate potential buyers from the database Arranging viewings and where applicable booking time in Valuer's diary or that of Viewing Agent Actively seeking opportunities to present applicants with properties that match their needs (on-market and off-market) Trained to expert standard on sales database ( Reapit ) and proactively using the relevant database functionality and reporting features Marketing - Support ing the Director in the implementation of the tactical branch marketing plan including: Local canvassing activity Recording accurate and detailed customer information to build a database of future potential sellers and buyers Contributing content for the social media profile of the branch using relevant platforms Generating positive customer review profiles for the branch (Google Reviews etc. ) Compliance - Support ing the sales team in ensuring all compliance requirements are met, including : The accuracy of all property marketing materials CPR & BPR 2008 Data Protection Act 2018 Anti-Money Laundering Regulations Key requirements Essential Driving licence Experienced in providing exceptional standards of customer service Proven ability to develop customer relationships to generate business Proficient in the use of IT systems including MS Teams, Word, Excel & Outlook Desirable Prior experience of Reapit or a comparable database product Local market knowledge Knowledge of the residential sales processes with the Scottish market Competencies Customer focus Collaboration Communication Planning and organising Problem-solving Positive mindset About us When you join Rettie you’ll discover the difference you can make.
