Around each Village, the Food and Beverage department employs around 350 team members across nine different restaurants, cafés and bars, as well as a production kitchen. There’s also a further five concessionary units including well-known brands such as Bella Italia and Café Rouge. From American grills to authentic Indian cuisine, or for those wanting a relaxing drink after a busy day, there’s something to suit all appetites at Center Parcs.
FOOD AND BEVERAGE AND RETAIL SERVICES MANAGER | Circa £73,800 Per Annum + 18% Management Bonus
This key person will lead/manage all aspects of the Food and Beverage and Retail divisions including various relationships with licensed and concession partners. The role is responsible for the delivery and execution of the total F&B/Retail operation in accordance with company strategy, objectives, standards, policies and financial targets.
As a member of the village senior management team you will also contribute to the successful management of the total village operation and participate in village specific projects including being part of the senior duty management rota.
HOURS OF WORK
Working straight shifts, you will be contracted to work 160 hours per 4-week period (40 hours per week) on a flexible basis. This means that your days and hours of work could vary each week, but you will always receive at least your contracted hours each period. Shifts will fall between 8am and 6pm.
As our village is open 365 days of the year, your working hours will include public/bank holidays and during Christmas and/or New Year on a rota basis.
ABOUT YOU
You will have worked in a senior role in Food and Beverage, Retail, or Operations within hospitality, with a proven ability to manage a P&L through a large team. Making decisions at a senior level will be within your experience and if you have worked collectively with other senior managers in pursuit of a bigger goal it will stand you in good stead.
Essential requirements:
* Senior management experience gained within the hospitality or retail sectors
* Experience in managing large teams preferably within a complex multi-site or regional role
* You will be able to demonstrate strong commercial skills, strong knowledge and understanding of budgets and forecasting, along with cost of sale management
* Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to influence, motivate and inspire your team
Desirable requirements:
* A qualification at HND or Degree level in Hospitality/Catering and an Advanced Food Hygiene certificate
