Hays Oxford has been engaged by a leading firm based in Witney to support with the latest hire into the team, a finance manager.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Prepare quarterly accounts and investor reports.
2. Manage annual audits and tax statements.
3. Engage in investment appraisals and valuations.
4. Direct Managed Accounts.
5. Handle statutory and quarterly reporting for large accounts.
6. Provide quarterly accounts, manage banking, and VAT.
7. Control bank payments and budget.
8. Oversee audits, tax programs, and timber harvesting processes.
9. Assist with Head Office finance activities.
Skills & Experience:
1. ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified.
2. 2+ years PQE in a fast-paced environment.
3. Knowledge of statutory accounting, VAT, and tax.
4. Strong numerical and IT skills (Excel).
5. Excellent attention to detail, organisational, and time management skills.
6. Effective communicator with confidence in dealing with senior people.
