Description King Edward VI School - Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk IP33 3BH £3,243 pro rata (£11.98 per hour, plus holiday pay entitlement) 1 ¼ hours per day, 38 weeks per year, 1.10 pm to 2.30 pm, Monday to Friday although part time will be considered Permanent Reference: 6500 Required as soon as possible Annual salary based on 5 days a week (6 ½ hours) £3,243 pro rata Your role/responsibilities We are looking for external staff to join our Lunchtime Supervision team, preferably 5 days a week during term time. You will be responsible for a set area within the school, supervising our students and dealing with any issues as they arise. You will need to have clear and confident communication skills in supporting students to be safe and respectful during their lunchtime break. Teamwork will be key, and you will be expected to always follow school policies. Experience of working with children and young people is not essential, more a willingness to show an interest in them and their lunchtime activities will help create those positive relationships with our young people.
