Job Duties:
* Supervising students in the absence of a teacher
* Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring a positive learning environment
* Delivering pre-prepared lesson plans
* Assisting students with their work and providing support
* Reporting back on student progress and any issues to teaching staff
Required Qualifications:
* GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics
* Previous experience working with children or young people
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Education:
Minimum of GCSEs in English and Mathematics
Experience:
Previous experience working with children or young people
Knowledge and Skills:
* Strong communication skills
* Ability to manage classroom behaviour
* Adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
* Teaching Assistant qualification
* First Aid certification
Working Conditions:
This role involves working in a school environment and may require standing for long periods of time. The candidate must be able to handle challenging behaviour from students and work collaboratively with teaching staff.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
