Behaviour Support Tutor- TP tutors are seeking engaging an enthusiastic QTS teachers/ tutors to support pupils on a 1:1 basis. The majority of our current placements are supporting pupils awaiting school placements, as such tuition often takes place in the home environment or out in the local community. We currently have availability across the Northamptonshire we are looking for tutors ideally based in close proximity of this area. Recently we’ve seen an increase in demand for specialists in core subjects (English and Maths) and have opportunities to support primary and secondary pupils. So, we welcome teachers from any background. Pupils may need tuition for a variety of reasons, including- Behavioural difficulties (pupils excluded from school / awaiting a new placement) Emotional needs including school phobia or anxiety Medical needs Improvement in grades Support with GCSE preparation Relocation and awaiting a school placement Requirements- QTS or a minimum two years teaching experience; ideally with a core specialism ( English or Maths Experience working with primary or secondary aged children Experience working with children in a tuition capacity (desirable) Why work for TP tutors? Face to face and online tuition options available to suit your availability with tuition available during the school day or after school. Children may be in a mainstream setting, special educational needs or alternate provision setting or without a school place and fall under the local authority awaiting a suitable school place. Bespoke online reporting platform- 24/7 access to enable you to log immediate attendance details, feedback and assessments.
