We require an Adult Social Work Team Manager at Wirral Council for a review project.
The ideal candidate must have:
* Team management experience and experience in supervising Social Work staff.
* Sound knowledge of the Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act, Safeguarding, and Continuing Health Care.
* Desirable to have knowledge of the 3 conversation model.
The aim of the role is to manage a team of five agency social workers, ensuring they undertake reviews in care homes and in a person’s own home in a timely manner. The Manager will be responsible for allocating work, monitoring throughput, and quality assuring the assessments. Additionally, the Manager will ensure continuing health care checklists are implemented as required.

* DIPSW or equivalent qualification in Social Work.
* Social Work England registration.
* Enhanced and in-date DBS certificate.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to make informed decisions based on available information.
* Ability to work independently and within/contribute to a team/multi-agency setups.
* Knowledge of service needs.
* Competent IT skills and the ability to navigate electronic file/recording systems.
* Ability to write clear, concise, and robust assessments/reports/files.
* Flexible approach to work and working hours when the need arises.
