We are seeking to appoint a Subject Leader for Business Studies. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic Subject Leader or an experienced Business Teacher with aspirations to lead the team in the provision.
A strong leadership team will support this candidate in their ambition to become the best teacher they can be by nurturing professional development and staff well-being.
The successful candidate will be passionate about their subject and must be committed to the development of outstanding teaching and pupil achievement.
Results have risen rapidly in recent years and the successful candidate will have the skills and enthusiasm to make a significant contribution to our continued improvement. Our journey to ensure improved whole school progress and attainment outcomes for all learners is already underway, as evidenced during our most recent OFSTED inspection which rated us as Good across every aspect of the school and highlighted our commitment to continued and rapid improvement throughout.
Chase High School is a mixed, mainstream secondary school located in Westcliff-on-Sea, Essex. It educates more than 1,300 pupils aged 11-18 from over 40 countries.

Chase High School is a mixed, mainstream secondary school located in Westcliff-on-Sea, near Southend, Essex. It educates more than 1,000 students aged 11-18 from over 40 countries. Since 2011, the school has had a sixth form.
Chase High School was built more than 100 years ago and recently secured academy status under the Brentwood Academies Trust. The secondary school continues to be involved in the community, forging local and international partnerships.

Values and Vision:
At Chase High School, academic achievement and personal performance are pursued in equal measure. Within the lower school, students gain the opportunity to study Mathematics, English, Science, PE, Technology, ICT, French, Geography, History, RE, Citizenship, Music, Art, and Drama.
Every year, pupils can participate in trips to national galleries, museums, and Shakespeare's Globe theatre. They also have the chance to visit France, Berlin, and European ski destinations. The sixth-form programme offers a wide range of A Level and BTEC courses at Level 3.
Every student matters, and the school policy is to treat everyone with dignity and support. Pupils receive support at key times, such as their transition from primary school.
Ofsted Report: “The training programmes for improving the quality of teaching are proving successful. Specific training for overseas teachers has had a highly positive impact since the last monitoring visit. The school now has good systems to support and develop newly and recently qualified teachers.”
