About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant and nurturing team in Doncaster. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the delivery of engaging, inclusive, and creative learning experiences for children aged 3–5, ensuring every child has the opportunity to thrive and achieve their potential.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the class teacher in delivering high-quality EYFS provision in line with the Early Years Framework.
Assist in planning and delivering stimulating activities that promote children’s learning, development, and wellbeing.
Provide individual and group support to children, including those with additional needs, to help them progress in their learning journey.
Observe, assess, and document children’s development, contributing to the maintenance of accurate records.
Foster a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment where children feel valued and respected.
Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and other professionals to support children’s development and wellbeing.
Uphold safeguarding procedures and maintain confidentiality at all times.
About You:
Experience working within an EYFS setting (desirable but not essential).
A relevant Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years, Childcare, or equivalent.
Knowledge of the EYFS Framework and a commitment to child-centered learning.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A caring, patient, and proactive approach to working with young children.
Commitment to professional development and a willingness to learn.
