Job Description Commercial Gas Engineer Location: Nationwide Hours: 39 hours per week - Monday-Friday Salary: £18.00-£22.00 per hour depending on skills and experience but negotiable for the right candidate. What you ’ ll do … Reporting to the department managers, the successful commercial gas engineers will take on the role of supporting the mechanical department with their ongoing works and variety of projects. Due to the nature of their varied projects, works can be Nationwide and require flexible working hours. These projects can include supermarket/retail, schools, prisons, police stations, colleges, care homes, social housing, undertaking breakdowns, installation works, planned preventative maintenance and response maintenance contracts. Key duties & responsibilities: Working on all aspects of commercial gas including (but not limited to) installation and maintenance of boilers, boosters and pipework. Working up to IGE/UP/1 tightness, strength testing and purging. Overseeing, supervising and training of trainees and apprentices. Knowledge/understanding of the contract design and construction drawings. What you ’ ll need … Princebuild Ltd are looking for experienced Commercial Gas Engineer s who have worked within a similar commercial and industrial environment. They will be self-motivated, proactive and hold competent IT skills. A positive attitude is required together with the ability to integrate and play an active part within the team. Developing positive relationships with your colleagues, our clients and all other site operatives are of paramount importance and therefore excellent communication skills are key.
