We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Male Brain Injury Support Worker to join our team in Corby, Northamptonshire. Our client requires support with day to day activities and companionship, including attending hydrotherapy appointments.

The Brain Injury Support Worker will be responsible for engaging with personalised routines, completing daily living activities, administering medication, providing emotional support, maintaining accurate records, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for the client.
Job responsibilities
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Male Brain Injury Support Worker to join our team in Corby, Northamptonshire. Our client requires support with day to day activities and companionship. The client will be attending hydrotherapy appointments, so the support worker must be comfortable with being in water.
Due to the client's needs, the applicant must have a UK driver's license and access to a vehicle as our client requires assistance to attend appointments and activities in the community.
Pay Rate: £14.42 per hour
Working Hours: Monday – Friday 9am – 4pm
Key Responsibilities:
* Engaging with personalised routines inclusive of hoists.
* Completing daily living activities, including personal hygiene and mobility.
* Administering medication and monitoring health conditions.
* Providing emotional support and companionship.
* Maintaining accurate records of care provided and reporting any changes in clients’ conditions.
* Collaborating with a range of healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in complex care.
* Ability to deal with challenging behaviours.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Flexibility to work the specified hours.

Training & Background Checks:
