SEN Hub Teacher/Primary Teacher in Birmingham

Teaching Personnel's Birmingham primary branch is currently seeking dedicated SEN hub teachers/primary teachers for both part-time and full-time contracted opportunities starting in the new year. These roles are located within SEN hubs and resource bases within mainstream schools, with an average class size of 5 to 8 students with ASD and ADHD. These positions are also suitable for Early Career Teachers (ECTs)!
- Create and implement lesson plans aligned with the individual development goals of each student.
- Monitor, record, and report on academic progress and personal development.
- Manage behaviour, prioritise safeguarding, and ensure a safe learning environment.
- Attend school meetings and events as needed.
- Communicate effectively with parents, Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Coordinators (SENDCos), and other education professionals.
- A valid Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and previous experience working with SEN students.
- Strong references demonstrating successful teaching experience and effective behaviour management skills.
- Flexibility to work with either Key Stage 1 (KS1) or Key Stage 2 (KS2) students.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
