Recently refurbished and looking exceptional, the practice is located in the town centre close to all amenities and only 1.5 miles from Nottingham city centre. It is the main practice in the area with smaller branches at Netherfield and Arnold which are consult only. Facilities include ultrasound/digital X-ray/ECG and as well as our in-house services you’ll also get access to everything available across the entire Medivet group, which include MRI and CT. The team currently has four vets, one currently taking a certificate in medicine. The support team of three nurses, a student nurse, three patient care assistants and two client care assistants is lead by an experienced head nurse with a certificate in animal behaviour and is an accredited kennel club trainer.
This is a full-time role working 40 hours a week over 4 days with 1:3 half weekends (morning at the Hucknall practice and afternoon at Sherwood doing consult only). Part-time applications are welcome and we're open to being flexible where we can so let us know what works for you.
This is the perfect opportunity to take the next step in your career by joining the growing Medivet community. We want to be the best place for vets and nurses to work and we're putting in the effort to do that. For more information contact Gemma.butterfield@medivet.co.uk.
