Co-ordinate the day to day running of the voluntary transport service involving complex planning to tight deadlines to ensure that requests are met efficiently. Use agreed Key documents to record driver availability organise, implement rotas and delivery schedules to ensure the provision of a robust and reliable service. Be prepared to respond calmly to exceptional situations which may necessitate the immediate re- organisation and re-allocation of drivers rotas and provide reassurance and practical assistance for the volunteer drivers to ensure continuity. To be responsible for the timely collection of a range of data for the voluntary services manager for official reporting and monitoring purposes.
