The Role:
My client based a short commute from Abingdon is actively seeking an enthusiastic and creative Teacher of English to join their team from September 2025 on a permanent part-time (0.5) basis. To be successful in this role, you will need to be confident in your ability to plan and mark engaging and informative lessons across Key Stages 3 to 5. Additionally, you will be confident working closely with students across a range of academic abilities, tailoring your approach to teaching in line with the students’ needs.
The School:
You will be joining an experienced department of dedicated and driven English Teachers that are eager to meet new additions to their team. As an English Teacher you will be vital not only in the preparation and delivery of your own lessons but also participating in the direction and reputation of the English department. The successful English Teacher can expect an annual base salary in line with the teacher pay scales (FTE £31,650 - £49,084, part-time salary £15,825 - £24,542).
