Job Title: Housekeeping Assistant
Shift Pattern: Tuesday – Friday 05:45 – 07:45 8 hours a week
Contract Length: 6 months
Pay: £12.08 per hour plus enhanced pay for weekends and bank holidays

About the Trust:

What you’ll be responsible for:
* General cleaning duties within various areas.
* Following the trust protocol to clean bathrooms, kitchens, and bedrooms.
* Any general cleaning that is needed.
You’ll learn the following whilst working at the trust:
* An in-depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS.
* A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation.
You’ll have the following skills/experience:
* Experience in a similar role (though full training given).

Responsibilities:
* Clean and maintain assigned areas, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas.
* Dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and washing surfaces.
* Changing linens and making beds.
* Replenishing supplies such as toiletries and cleaning products.
* Emptying trash and recycling bins.
* Reporting any maintenance issues or damages to the supervisor.
* Adhering to health and safety guidelines.
Skills:
* Attention to detail to ensure thorough cleaning.
* Time management skills to complete tasks efficiently.
* Physical stamina for standing, bending, and lifting during work hours.
* Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
* Excellent communication skills to interact with team members and residents.
Note: Previous experience as a housekeeper or in a similar role is preferred but not required.
