Job Description
Our client, a key player in the Defence & Security sector, is currently seeking three Procurement Engineers to join their team on a contract basis. This role will be part of the Defence division, focusing on military, air, and information systems projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Managing procurement processes for defence-related projects
* Working closely with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services
* Negotiating contracts and agreements to secure the best terms and conditions
* Monitoring supplier performance and resolving any issues that may arise
* Liaising with internal teams to understand project requirements and timelines
* Maintaining accurate records of procurement activities and documentation
* Supporting risk management by identifying and mitigating potential supply chain risks
* Adhering to industry standards and regulatory requirements
Job Requirements:
* Experience in procurement within the defence or security sectors
* Understanding of procurement processes and supply chain management
* Ability to negotiate contracts and manage supplier relationships
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
* Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
* Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements
