A rapidly growing construction business are recruiting a Credit Controller to join their team on a temporary basis to cover long term sickness, this role also has the potential to permanent later down the line. The business is based in East Sheffield, conveniently located near fantastic public transport links.
In the role of a Credit Controller, your key is pivotal for upholding the businesses’ credit policies and overall finance function. The ideal candidate will be able to hit the ground running in this high-importance role, completing tasks in a timely and accurate manner.
The duties of a Credit Controller are as follows:

Responsibility for the full credit control process for an allocated part of the businesses’ ledger

Chase outstanding debts while maintaining positive relationships with the businesses’ key contacts
*
Maintain accurate records
*
Respond appropriately & effectively to customer queries
*
Contribute to regular credit reports
Preferred skills & attributes:
*
Must have previous experience as a Credit Controller
*
Experience using a range of financial systems, including Sage & Excel
*
Strong communication skills, especially when chasing payments via telephone
*
Team-player
