Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Wholesale Manager to lead our wholesale operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for sales management, ensuring that our wholesale division meets its targets while fostering a collaborative team environment. This role requires excellent communication abilities and the capacity to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Duties
1. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive wholesale growth.
2. Manage and supervise the wholesale team, providing guidance and support to achieve sales objectives.
3. Communicate with key stakeholders, including suppliers and clients, to build strong relationships and enhance business opportunities.
4. Oversee inventory management, ensuring optimal stock levels are maintained to meet customer demand.
5. Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for expansion within the wholesale sector.
6. Monitor sales performance and prepare reports for senior management, highlighting areas for improvement.
7. Train and mentor team members in sales techniques, product knowledge, and customer service excellence.
8. Utilise time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
9. Ensure adherence to administrative processes and compliance with company policies.
Qualifications
1. Proven experience in wholesale management or a similar role, demonstrating strong leadership capabilities.
2. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences.
3. Strong sales management experience with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
4. Ability to manage a team effectively, fostering a positive work environment that encourages collaboration.
5. Proficient in time management, with the ability to juggle multiple responsibilities efficiently.
6. Administrative skills that support organisational efficiency within the wholesale division.
7. Multilingual abilities are advantageous, enhancing communication with international partners and clients.
