Are you passionate about improving public health and tackling inequalities? Myn is recruiting on behalf of a valued long-term partner in Kent for a Project Officer to support the delivery of essential sexual health services.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to play a vital role in overseeing a £10 million portfolio of sexual health services that serve over 1.6 million people living and working in Kent. You'll contribute to improving health outcomes and addressing health inequalities, while also working on district-level public health initiatives and health protection efforts.
As a Project Officer, you will:
1. Deliver and Oversee Projects: Develop, support, monitor, and review public health programmes with a focus on sexual health.
2. Inform Policy: Use data effectively to inform policies and programmes, ensuring evidence-based decisions.
3. Collaborate: Work with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality public health services.
4. Contribute Broadly: Support district-level public health initiatives and health protection projects beyond sexual health.
What You Bring
1. Qualifications: Ideally, you will hold a public health qualification.
2. Project Management Skills: Proven experience in managing and delivering projects within public health or similar sectors.
3. Data Proficiency: Ability to use and analyse data to shape policy and programme delivery.
4. Experience: Previous success in working as part of a multidisciplinary team to achieve shared goals.
