JOB OVERVIEW At Kent College, Canterbury, we are seeking a well-qualified and passionate Teacher of Science to join an outstanding department with the ability to teach Junior Science, and two to three sciences to GCSE Higher level. The successful candidate may also be teaching our Innovation programme at KS3 that is designed to enhance students' transferable skills through cross-curricular activities. The Science Department's results are excellent, and the successful candidate will be expected to sustain current levels of achievement, whilst developing their own individual role within a fully supportive team. Experience of teaching KS3 Science and KS4 Chemistry and Physics is essential, however newly qualified teachers are welcome to apply. This is a full-time teaching post from September 2025, and is temporary for a period of maternity cover (up to one year).
