What Does Being a Care Assistant Involve?
As a Care Assistant, you will support clients in their homes, helping them with daily needs to enable them to remain in the home they love. Your job as Care Assistant will include:
* Providing a minimum of 1-hour visits
* Introductions to all new clients with another Care Assistant present
* Delivering companionship-led care services
* Assisting with shopping, general household tasks, and preparing fresh food
* Building strong professional relationships with clients
* Offering a variety of non-medical services to help clients maintain independence in their own homes
* Assisting with personal care routines
* Medication administration and keeping accurate daily records
Compensation and Benefits:
* £12.70 per care hour
* Paid travel and wait time between clients
* Additional 45p per mile
* 28 days paid holiday

Qualifications
Qualifications:
While you do not need formal qualifications to become a Care Assistant with us, experience in a care setting or interacting with older people is beneficial. We will provide full award winning training where you will obtain your Care Certificate. The ideal candidate will:
* Have a passion for supporting others and delivering outstanding service
* Previous experience working with the elderly, ideally in a care setting.
* Be reliable, trustworthy, and respectful
* Enjoy building professional friendships and spending time with others
Requirements:
* You must live within traveling distance from our office in Pewsey, SN9.
* Possess a valid driver's license and have access to a reliable vehicle
* Have the ability to work every other weekend
* You must have the right to work in the UK
* This role is subject to references and a DBS enhanced disclosure.
* Please note that we do not hold a sponsorship license at this time.
