St Oswald's Hospice provides exceptional palliative care. We value complementary therapies in enhancing patient well-being and are looking for a compassionate Complementary Therapist to join our team.
You will work as part of the Focus on Living team to deliver high-quality, evidence-based complementary therapy interventions that enhance the physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being of adult hospice patients, their families, and carers both within St Oswald's Hospice (Focus on Living centre, Adult Inpatient and Children and Young Adults) and in a patient home if necessary. You will contribute to holistic palliative care by supporting symptom management, improving quality of life, and promoting relaxation and comfort in alignment with the hospice's values and ethos.
What We're Looking For:
* Diploma level 3 or above in Essential Aromatherapy or equivalent (e.g. massage, reflexology)
* Registration with a relevant professional body (e.g., FHT, CNHC).
* Experience delivering complementary therapies in healthcare or palliative care settings.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* A compassionate, patient-centred approach to care.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
* A full UK driving licence is essential for this role. Willingness to travel for community-based activities as needed.
