We are now looking for a team manager to lead our administration team (our ‘Psychologist and Client Support’ team).
The Role
You will be responsible for the management of a team of administrators who work with our psychologists and clients on a daily basis, as well as managing our office facilities.
The role will be based in Kidlington, near Oxford, mainly office-based with the opportunity to work from home. There is free parking on site.
You will be proactive, able to act without guidance, as well as having excellent managerial and team leadership skills.
Key responsibilities:
People management: Day-to-day line management and support of our Psychologist and Client Support (PCS) team, including recruitment and induction of new team members, work allocation, priority setting, development support, and performance management.
Facilities management: Ensuring the office facilities are managed and maintained to agreed standards.
Business support:
* Planning and organising internal company events including monthly all-staff meetings, partner meetings, and social events, such as away days.
* Preparation of monthly company information for sharing throughout the business (our “Team Brief”).
Budgetary responsibility: Ownership and control of budgetary spend for all areas above. Inclusive of annual budgeting, quarterly spend reviews, ensuring value for money is achieved with a cost-conscious approach.
HR support: Supporting the HR manager with administrative HR tasks, dealing with confidential information. Prior HR experience is not required.
Person specification:
To be considered, you will need:
* Strong people leadership and management skills, with significant experience of setting team and individual priorities, allocating work, managing performance, and developing staff.
* Excellent MS Office knowledge and familiarity with office & online applications (e.g. MS Teams, Zoom, SharePoint).
* Proactive approach with strong organisational and time management skills.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to recognise the need for discretion and confidentiality.

* Salary range: up to £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.
