Branch Manager – Sudbury, permanent, full-time, 40 hours per week
We are looking to recruit a Branch Manager for this thriving Sudbury store. This store has a large offering of painting and decorating products, including a specialist designer paints and wallcoverings area for the decorative market. Additionally, the site has a large parking area and easy access.
This is a great opportunity where you will lead and develop a team, managing and motivating them to achieve branch and company objectives, including performance reviews, appraisals, and KPIs.
Gaining up-to-date knowledge of area developments and competitor activity, you will create, manage, and develop a branch business plan and work to agree on the branch budget. You will develop sales to agreed levels through new and existing business, proactively marketing the branch and controlling costs by managing stock to agreed levels.
Delivering excellent customer service to both internal and external customers (trade and retail), our Branch Manager will handle customer queries, projects, and complaints promptly and effectively, consistently meeting customer requirements. You will build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, merchandisers, and other partners, organizing events and initiatives to promote good relations and sales development.
What we are looking for…
* Ideally, a sound knowledge of the decorating industry with the tenacity to deliver objectives and achieve targets; if not, a strong retail background is essential.
* You must also have the ability to identify new market and product opportunities and provide excellent customer service in accordance with our Customer Charter.
* This role requires good communication skills both internally and externally.
Minimum Requirements: Candidates must hold a full driving licence.
