We are seeking an ambitious and creative classics and Latin teacher. The ideal candidate will inspire and engage children both in the classroom and beyond, fostering a love for classics and Latin. Person Specification
The ideal candidate would have the following key skills, experience and attributes:
Qualifications and Experience
· A good subject relevant Degree, with teaching qualification
· Good understanding and knowledge of current educational issues for the 7 – 13 age group.
· Ability to teach to scholarship level at 13+

· Excellent Computing/ICT and Literacy skills
· Willingness to be visible and act as a high profile ambassador for the School to current and prospective parents

Working at Wellesley:
· Immediately responsible to: Director of Studies
· Part-Time – up to three days a week.
· Commencement Date: 1st September 2025
· School Term time only (to include working days prior to the return and after the departure of pupils as may be necessary for the proper performance of your duties).
· Notice Period: One school term.
