Our client in based in the Glasgow area and are offering a Salary circa £29k, excellent pension, free parking and hybrid working.Reporting to a Team Leader, you will take ownership of preparing and delivering critical financial information to clients, gaining valuable experience in a commercial finance environment.This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong foundation in finance to further develop their skills in a collaborative, fast-paced setting. You’ll be provided with full training on systems and processes, and while industry experience is welcome, it is not required.Key Responsibilities:• Prepare management accounts and monitor funding requirements for key clients• Perform variance analysis (actuals vs budget) in coordination with budget holders• Collaborate with the operations team to provide commentary to clients• Liaise directly with clients to address and resolve queries• Manage general ledger for assigned client portfolios• Complete month-end balance sheet reconciliations• Reconcile internal account balances• Process bank payments and perform bank reconciliations• Maintain open purchase orders and accruals• Assist with ad hoc reporting and financial duties as neededWhat We’re Looking For:Essential:• Experience in a finance function, including general ledger processing• Solid time management and prioritisation skills• High attention to detail and accuracy• Strong team player who also works well independently• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills• Proficient in Microsoft Excel• Familiarity with accounting and reporting software• Experience preparing accounts up to trial balanceDesirable:• Progress toward a professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, ICAS)• Background in management accounting or client reporting• Process improvement mindset• Eagerness to grow within the role and contribute to team developmentIf you're a proactive individual with a can-do attitude and a passion for delivering high-quality financial reporting, we’d love to hear from you.
