Bright Sparks Day Nursery is located in Hinckley, Leicestershire and is well placed for easy commuting from Hinckley, Nuneaton, Leicester, and Coventry. We are part of a family-run, private group of nurseries and we offer progressive career opportunities in early years childcare. We offer quality care and education for children from birth to 5 years. Our settings have excellent facilities, including large outdoor areas.
The Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to join a small, close-knit team and to work closely with the nursery management and the owners. The nursery has an excellent reputation, and we want to maintain the excellent standards that the nursery has. As an inspiring Nursery Deputy Manager, you will form an integral part of the nursery management structure, providing professional leadership and management to your team which will consist of Nursery Practitioners, Team and Room Leaders, and support staff. You will provide the support a Nursery Manager needs to run a commercial nursery and oversee all quality and legislation.
Your role will involve a diverse range of responsibilities, including:
* Leadership & Support: Assist the Nursery Manager in leading and inspiring our dedicated team of educators, ensuring the highest standards of care and education.
* Operational Management: Help oversee daily operations, ensuring compliance with all regulations and maintaining our high standards.
* Curriculum Development: Collaborate in designing and implementing an engaging, creative curriculum that meets the developmental needs of each child.
* Parent Partnership: Build strong, positive relationships with parents, maintaining open and effective communication about their child's progress.
* Health & Safety: Uphold a safe, clean, and welcoming environment, adhering to all health and safety guidelines.
About You:
We are searching for a Deputy Nursery Manager who is passionate about early childhood education and ready to bring energy, creativity, and leadership to our team. The ideal candidate will have:
* Qualifications: A minimum Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent), with a thorough understanding of the EYFS framework.
* Experience: Demonstrated experience in a supervisory or senior role within an early years setting.
* Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to support and inspire a team.
* Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to engage effectively with children, parents, and staff.
* Passion: A genuine passion for early childhood education and a commitment to excellence.
