We are looking for a driven, passionate and experienced Specialist Occupational Therapist to join the team.

Salary: £37,969 - £45,418 Dependent on experience at this level
Hours: Full Time or Part Time (minimum 3 days) considered
The successful candidate will be expected to support the Lead Occupational Therapist and Highly Specialist Senior OT in driving the occupational therapy strategy forward; contributing to continual quality improvement and service innovation. They will also require the skills to role model and energise the workforce; understanding that the health and wellbeing of our staff is critical to the care and treatment of those using our service.

The Learning Disability and Autism Division
Our aim is to provide high-quality assessment, care and treatment, helping patients to progress to the least restrictive setting by equipping them with the skills required to live as independently as possible, closer to communities of their choosing.
The Person and Role
As a highly experienced registered occupational therapist, you would be joining a motivated, knowledgeable and innovative OT team. You will contribute to a multi-disciplinary clinical team; taking responsibility for a clinical caseload, and offering OT specific assessment and treatment to groups and individuals within your care.
1. Minimum of 12 months experience as an occupational therapist.
2. Evidence of line management responsibilities.
3. Willingness to continue to work to standards of proficiency identified by HCPC and regulatory bodies.
4. Deliver clinical treatments to a specialist standard and to enhance engagement outcome measures.
5. Knowledge of learning disability and/or Autism is essential, experience in these areas would be desirable.
6. Experience working in DBT/Forensic services/secure services would be desirable.
7. Experience of sensory integration would be desirable but not essential.
8. Evidence of supporting and development within quality assurance; continuous quality improvement projects, auditing, service development.
