The Kelly Group are looking for the very best talent and are currently looking to recruit a Junior Reporting Analyst to join our expanding CityFibre contract.
The primary function of a reporting analyst is to create and deliver reports and dashboards that provide insights into business performance and communicate with the operations team to deliver key field information to allow field management more efficiently.
Role Responsibilities:
* Data Collection and Organization: Gather data from various sources, including databases, spreadsheets, and other systems.
* Data Analysis: Analyse data to identify patterns, trends, and insights that can inform business decisions.
* Report Creation: Design and create reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders. (Mixture of Qlik [Primary] and Excel [Secondary])
* Data Quality: Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data used in reports.
* Communication: Clearly and effectively communicate data findings and insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
* Problem Solving: Identify and resolve data-related issues and inconsistencies.
Skills
You should ideally be able to demonstrate and provide examples of the following key skills:
* Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Data Analysis Tools: Proficiency in data analysis software or tools, such as Excel, and BI tools (e.g., Qlik, Power BI).
* Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Data Visualization: Ability to create clear and effective data visualizations.
* Technical Skills: Understanding of databases, data structures, and data warehousing.
* Business Acumen: Understanding of business operations and industry trends.
Tools in regular use: Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Powerpoint, Microsoft Excel, Qlik Sense.
