As part of SIG Plc, F30 Building Products are a national supplier of specialist building products, stocking a broader range, with a knowledgeable and technically able sales team, that can support contractors, merchants, architects or engineers, to provide you with the complete solution.
We are currently looking to recruit a Multi-drop Van/7.5 T lorry driver who will be at the heartbeat of our operations and act as a custodian of our great customer service.
What does the role involve?
The successful candidate will be working in a safety critical role and will be responsible for delivering to a schedule and working to timescales, whilst delivering our exceptional F30 customer service. Due to changing business demands the successful candidate will be making multi-drop deliveries in both a van and a 7.5 T lorry and will therefore need to be adaptable with a 7.5 T lorry licence. You will be required to maintain good care of your vehicle, perform daily safety checks, and keep transport documents and paperwork updated. You will also be working closely with the warehouse team; you will ideally have some knowledge of warehouse processes as you will be required to assist from time to time.
The successful candidate will require:
Full driving license including a 7.5t license
No more than 6 points on your licence (for insurance purposes)
Experience in multi-drop driving for a delivery or distribution company, up to 7.5 tonne
