We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Sales Coordinator to join a dynamic team for a company based in Bridgend.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the sales department by managing administrative tasks, ensuring smooth operations, and enhancing customer satisfaction.
This role requires excellent organisational skills, proficiency in various software applications, and the ability to communicate effectively in English.
Duties
Respond to customer queries for sales via telephone and email, ensure all customer requirements are confirmed and logged and passed to relevant sales personnel.
Ensuring the sales procedure is followed by all sales personnel.
Assist when requested in the compilation of quotations and tenders.
Maintain the sales system from quotation stage to Sales order receipt, including ensuring correctly detailed information is available.
Processing Sales orders for Sales.
Producing and sending Order acknowledgements for Sales orders.
Reporting on Sales into required meetings.
Ensuring customer concerns/complaints are passed to quality team.
Responding to or ensuring responses are given to customer queries or requests
Arranging Transport for customer deliveries of equipment
5S responsibility for own area.
Holiday cover for spares when spare parts coordinator on leave
Experience
Proven experience in a sales administration role or similar position is desirable.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word) is essential; experience with Sage is a plus.
Strong IT skills with the ability to quickly learn new software applications.
Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
A keen eye for detail and strong organisational abilities are crucial for success in this role.
Ability to communicate clearly and professionally in English, both verbally and in writing.
