Key Responsibilities : Provide expert corporate immigration advice to clients in the UK and overseas, addressing a variety of business immigration matters. Deliver complex immigration advice, including advising on corporate transactions, conducting compliance audits, managing sponsor license applications, and defending clients against civil penalty notices. Supervise team members on day-to-day immigration matters, such as right-to-work compliance, business visitor visas, and global mobility visa applications. Undertake contentious immigration work, as well as deliver engaging client training and speak at events on immigration-related topics. Build lasting client relationships through exceptional communication and service delivery. Work collaboratively with a tight-knit, friendly team committed to excellence and professional development. Preferred Requirements : 5 years of post-qualified experience (PQE) as a solicitor in Scotland, with a strong background in both personal and corporate immigration law. A proven ability to manage a full immigration caseload, including complex cases, gained from a large regional or city firm. Extensive knowledge of global mobility visas, sponsor license compliance, and contentious immigration matters. Demonstrated skills in business development, with the drive to build the firm’s reputation and client base. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, along with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
