The Role:
The department are recruiting for a Senior Associate or Principal Associate to join its leading Employment team in Cambridge. The role involves advising on all aspects of employment law, including complex employee relations, restructurings, TUPE, and employment tribunal litigation. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a diverse client base across various sectors, including education, healthcare, and private businesses.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Providing expert legal advice on a wide range of employment law matters, including contentious and non-contentious issues.
2. Managing complex cases, including employment tribunal claims, senior executive exits, and restructuring projects.
3. Building and maintaining strong client relationships, delivering exceptional service, and providing practical, strategic advice.
4. Leading on business development initiatives, including networking, presenting at seminars, and contributing to marketing activities.
5. Supervising and mentoring junior lawyers within the team, supporting their development and progression.
Key Requirements:
1. Qualified Solicitor with substantial experience in employment law.
2. Minimum of 4 years PQE.
3. Proven experience handling complex employment law matters, including tribunal litigation.
