Job Description Field Service Supervisor We are working with a global company who are at the forefront of compressor technology. They are looking for a new Field Service Supervisor to join their team to help support their clients across the UK and offshore. The primary role is to supervise and oversee a team of field service engineers to ensure safety, quality and commercial success. You will still be hands-on c arrying out service, maintenance and troubleshooting activities at customer sites, the supervisor is expected to be able to solve complex problems, both mechanical and process based. Job Responsibilities Lead the on-site service team, sub-contractors and other parties in the undertaking of overhaul and repair work in a safe manner C arry out service, maintenance and troubleshooting activities at customer sites Ensure Health & Safety requirements are met, and promote a positive H&S environment throughout work Responsible for performance of Field Service technicians on site, monitor and enforce scope of work as well as manage customer expectations Review projects and assist in the definition and qualification of work scopes with sales and customers. Undertake site visits to establish work scope, spares and tooling requirements, to enable accurate quotations to be submitted Obtain inspection sign-off, customer sign-off, and monitor final reporting, QA During and after a site intervention, collate dimensional reports and service reports for issuance to office Support in the preparation and planning of service activities Travel 70-80% of the time Person Specification Minimum of 5 years ’ experience with maintenance of rotating equipment, with 2 years Supervisor experience HNC in engineering discipline or equivalent vocational qualification Must have strong technical ability on mechanical systems Reciprocating compressor experience preferred Experience working in Oil and Gas or other heavily regulated industry Excellent verbal and written communication skills Fluent in use of MS-Office products, especially Word and Excel Safety Qualification Ability to work on a flexible work schedule and to be on call and respond at short notice Full clean UK driving license Willingness to obtain offshore certification & work offshore and overseas Hours of Work, Pay, and Benefits Basic - £47,000 OTE - £65,000 Company van Company credit card Tools provided Company laptop and mobile PPE 25 days holiday (3 days for Christmas shutdown) Company bonus scheme Company pensions scheme
