Triz Engineering Solutions is looking for a Process Engineer to form part of our engineering team, with the ability to fit into the DNA of our company culture that is dynamic and embraces change. Location:
The candidate will work from Triz Engineering Solutions in Durbanville, Western Cape, South Africa with the possibility to emigrate to Autocar in Birmingham, Alabama, or Hagerstown, Indiana, USA if required after 1 year.

Requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Industrial engineering or Equivalent
* 3-5 Years of engineering experience
* Experience in Six Sigma, lean manufacturing, 5S and visual management
* Understanding of time study/line balancing
* Autodesk Inventor, SolidWorks Composer, and NX Unigraphics would be a benefit
* Willing to relocate to the USA
* Willing to travel overseas for variable periods
* South African Citizenship
Job Description:
The Process Engineer is responsible for manufacturing engineering, industrial and process engineering related functions within their scope of responsibility at Autocar. Key functions include day-to-day production and quality support, facilities and tooling development, project management and introducing new products/options into production. The ideal candidate possesses the ability to readily adjust to changing priorities, is innovative and self-driven and has a hands-on approach to problem solving while working well within a team.
Facilitate the seamless transition of new products and options into the production environment. Perform all aspects of continuous improvement including but not limited to, implementing lean manufacturing practices, 5S and visual management, throughput improvements, quality improvements, safety and ergonomics, tooling and equipment development for the efficient assembly of severe duty class 8 trucks, etc.
