Lead Interface Engineer - Oil & Gas Sector
Are you ready to join a dynamic team on an international stage? We are seeking an experienced Lead Interface Engineer with expertise in the oil and gas industry for a contract position based either in Paris, France or London, UK. This role is integral to managing technical and contractual interfaces across various project packages from FEED phase sanction through EPC until Development completion including Project close-out.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Set up and manage the interface management system during both FEED and EPC phases.
2. Ensure that all interfaces within the project are identified, recorded accurately in the Interface Matrix, and managed effectively by designated engineers.
3. Liaise closely with contracts lead/engineers to ensure clarity of roles concerning interface management.
4. Regularly update information related to Interfaces aligned with Integration activities ensuring transparency among parties involved.
Skills Required:
1. Project Management: Proven experience leading projects successfully while adhering strictly to company rules as well as safety legislation policies/procedures.
2. Interface Coordination: Ability to identify and resolve complex issues arising between different engineering disciplines/entities swiftly, minimizing risk exposure toward ongoing projects.
3. Risk Mitigation Planning: Working collaboratively alongside risk/opportunity leads identifying potential threats/benefits throughout the duration of respective assignments undertaken thus far.
