Excellent opportunity for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer with proven electrical experience and qualifications to carry out reactive and planned maintenance for an established Telford-based production company. The role offers opportunities for progression within the business and competitive employment benefits, with a salary of £54,000. You should be time served with a Level 3 Electrical qualification or ideally an HNC.
Shifts – Rotating 12 Hour shifts
Job Outline
Joining an experienced team of Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance Engineers on the company's rotating day and night shifts. Reporting to the Maintenance/Engineering Manager, you will be provided with the motivation and resources to carry out electrical maintenance on the company’s electrical systems and work according to PPM schedules.
Responsibilities
* Fault finding in electrical and mechanical systems
* Conversion machinery
* Strong understanding of hydraulics and pneumatics
* Fault finding in Siemens S7 controls
* Working to PPM schedules
* Recording work, faults, and breakdowns within the engineering maintenance system
* Responding quickly to breakdowns
* Executing new installations and modifications to existing equipment
* Ability to work on individual and group projects
Candidate Requirements
* HNC, HND qualification desirable or completion of an engineering apprenticeship
* 17th or 18th edition qualification and/or Level 3 Electrical Qualification
* Proven engineering background with experience in production/manufacturing
* Strong electrical and PLC fault-finding skills
* Experience with steel processing, conversion, and slitting is desirable
