We are seeking a recent Psychology or Criminology Graduate to join our team as a Social, Emotional & Mental Health - Intervention - Pastoral - Assistant. This role is ideal for individuals looking to kick-start their career in the Mental Health Sector and support the mental health of vulnerable young people.
The successful candidate will have a passion for working with children and adolescents, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a specialist school near Guildford and contribute to the development of our students' social, emotional, and mental wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities:
* To provide high-quality pastoral support to students, including identifying and addressing any social, emotional, or mental health concerns.
* To work collaboratively with teachers, teaching assistants, and other professionals to ensure seamless student support.
* To maintain accurate records and participate in regular staff meetings and training sessions.
Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum
