We are looking for a talented and motivated person to join our team and architecture practice based in Glasgow city centre.

Any new team member must share our enthusiasm for responsible design, including an interest in understanding and overcoming the challenges of sustainable refurbishment and retro-fit.
You will be:
An architectural assistant part II with a minimum of 2 years practice experience and who is keen to develop and gain more experience & professional knowledge; or, a recently qualified architect, who is eager to proactively contribute to the development of a small, busy and varied practice, whilst developing their professional career.
You will be a team player, supporting the director whilst also leading other staff in the delivery of projects at different stages, including researching and production of technical drawings and contract administration.
You will also:
* Share our ethos and approach to environmental design.
* Be passionate about eco and low energy design; additional qualifications in this area are a bonus but we will provide training if required.
* Have experience working at all project stages, including production information and construction.
* Have a good working knowledge of planning and building regulations.
* Have excellent attention to detail – in administration, drawing and the detail of designs.
* Be keen to support and deliver practice administration, and develop our social media.
* Have excellent time management and organisation skills, including project programming and resource management.
* Be inquisitive, collaborative and enjoy exploring ideas to find solutions to design challenges.
* Enjoy ongoing learning – formally or informally – as part of your career and personal development within the practice.
* Appreciate being able to get actively involved in the ‘continuous improvement’ of our practice, by identifying ways we can improve our services and processes, and getting actively involved in making the necessary changes.
* Be fluent in spoken and written English.
* Be fluent in AutoCAD Lt and Microsoft Office.
* Enjoy working as an integral part of our team.
* Be able to demonstrate that you have the right to work in the UK and have a UK driving licence.
We are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from all backgrounds.
