Your duties will include routine cleaning of plant and equipment. You will be responsible for complying with the FCC safe system of work.This vacancy is for a full-time position. What will you be doing? - Act as a member of a small team of staff covering all cleaning activities within the Allington Integrated Waste Management Facility- Respond to the duty cleaning supervisor’s requests effectively and openly- Use of all the site cleaning tools and facilities- Operate forklift trucks and sweepers - Responsible for completing all cleaning routines effectively and safely- Work in line with the FCC Safety Rules- Working as part of a team striving for continual improvement in minimising Health & Safety Risks at the Allington EFW plant- Responsible for minimising environmental impacts within the site, i.e. odour, dust noise and vehicle pollutants- Working as part of a team for continual improvements to minimise environmental impacts at the Allington EFW plant- Contribute towards the team effort, encourage team spirit and provide assistance to others- Contribute to development discussions with supervisors- Any other duties requested by the line manager within their capacity What are we looking for? - Industrial cleaning experience desirable- Understanding of safe systems of work i.e. plant isolations and safety documents. Training will be provided within the FCC safety rules- Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written- The ability to read and follow instructions- A commitment and determination to meet personal objectives.
