Job Description Finance Analyst Full-Time Derby/ Hybrid (3 days a week in the office) We have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Analyst to join the Assembly, Test and Controls team. You will provide robust Analyst support to the Site FBP of the Large Engine business and the VP Manufacturing Business Units (MBU), along with the first line leadership teams. Providing support and challenge the business to help make the right business decisions, and business acumen to help drive efficiency, cost effectiveness, and Standardisation across Manufacturing Operations. The role supports financial governance and projects, and ensures that financial controls are operating effectively for the relevant area. This role is to be executed whilst adhering to relevant standardised procedures and systems, and maintaining/contributing to the required level of functional stewardship. Responsibilities Robust and timely completion of Ap’ly reporting, including SAP, journals, P&L and balance sheet. Supporting the FBP & Large Engines team, providing information, insight and challenge to the teams, drive strong financial performance on P&L/Balance sheet, and overall cost engagement support to the Plants. Support and complete financial forecasts and planning activity, including planning models and review packs, understanding key movements with comparators and promote a cost-conscious culture Projects & Improvements : Finance point of contact for MBU projects, supporting the project teams with data, analysis and insight. Provide financial & business advice to the business in raising capital schemes; ensure that capital is appropriately planned and business cases are sound and adhere to the appropriate governance, provide robust support to PMO and business cases, as required. Stewardship & Controls : Ensure that management information and insights can be relied upon, and robust governance & stewardship is achieved, accountable for effective business & financial controls and compliance for the Site(s), including Blackline, AUC reviews, Impairment reviews Provide leadership support and delegation to the Site FBP when required, also working closely with the Man Ops HQ team and EFSC to ensure that appropriate finance support is provided to the sites. Work pro-actively with Site Domestic CoP to simplify/standardise key processes, and share and deploy best knowledge Why Rolls-Royce?
