Our Public Sector client based in Worcester is looking for an Executive Assistant to support their Chief Executive and Chair. This is three-month temporary role with the possibility of extension. Full time Monday to Friday 37.00 hours a week, office hours of 9.00am to 5.00pm but with some flexibility. This role will be paying £14.86 per hour, currently working on a hybrid basis with two days in the office and three from home.
Your role would be to provide Executive Assistant support to the CEO and Chair, ensuring their time is well planned and they have all the resources they require. This would include being pro-active and strategic in protecting their diary and delegating meetings where necessary to align with the organisation's needs.
You would be expected to develop a strong working relationship with the wider Directors and Senior Management Team including other Executive Assistants to facilitate the smooth running of the organisation.
As part of this role, you will be required, but not limited to, the following responsibilities:
* Organising meetings to include logistics, agenda planning, papers/briefing notes, note-taking at the meeting, creating action logs and follow ups
* Email and diary management, prioritising or rearranging where necessary and flagging any potential clashes
* Arranging and booking travel and accommodation
* Arranging/booking meeting rooms and conference facilities
* Supporting with general management requests to support the wider organisation as required
* General administration duties such as data entry, answer telephones, filing
Skills required
* Experience of managing a busy senior leaders inbox, diary and associated tasks
* Highly organised and well-motivated
* Able to prioritise workload and adapt to changeable deadlines
* Good communications in both written and verbal form
* Confident in engaging with internal and external stakeholder
* Good working knowledge of MS applications including SharePoint
