Morrison Water Services is recruiting for a Programme Control Coordinator to work on our Southern Water contract in Falmer.
As the Programme Control Coordinator you will be part of our Project Management department reporting to the Programme Control Manager, to develop professional compliant processes throughout the whole project life cycle. Responsible for monitoring and tracking the flow of project information to and from the Client.
Liaising with estimators, planners, contract managers, directors and the client directly.
As the Programme Control Coordinator your responsibilities will include:
- Tracking the flow of Project information to and from the Client.
- To assist with document control
- Tracking all new projects and contract from opportunities to contract award stages. Early contract involvement / Request for proposal / Request for information / Contract awarded tracker
- Assist with organisation of meeting, setting agendas and taking minutes.
- Coordinate project handover meetings from bid to live.
- Collation of target cost submissions to meet tender deadlines.
- Collate and issue final contract package for internal signing.
- Organise and provision of training for new tablets and software for Apcam use.
- Assist with gathering documents /forms required Business Management System (BMS).
- Checking to ensure that processes are followed for all works associated with programme control.
- Assist with Value of Works Done (VOWD) - Monthly progress reporting. Liaising with the commercial department to ensure that accurate forecasts are provided along with data analysis of month-on-month variances to help improve accuracy.
- Assist with setup weekly FLODs.
- Assist with setup monthly project reviews with relevant team members.
- Updating the weekly live works list via the company SharePoint system.
- Holiday cover for office manager.
Other support duties may be required from time to time.
Skills & Knowledge Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, marketing and presentation tools
- Self motivated and able to work on own initiative, with excellent planning and time management
- Effective communication skills whilst maintaining high levels of confidentiality
- Efficient and well organised individual, with the ability to continually prioritise workloads to meet tight deadlines
- Strong teamwork skills
