Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
* Assessing and advising individuals at risk of homelessness, both over the phone and in person.
* Supporting the Housing Solutions Officer in managing cases, updating personalised housing plans, and processing rent deposit applications and financial assessments.
* Facilitating moves into suitable private or social sector accommodation where possible.
* Gaining an in-depth understanding of housing law, including tenancy agreements, possession proceedings, harassment, illegal eviction, and tenancy sustainment.
* Working with partner agencies to provide effective homelessness prevention solutions.
