Breaks: 2x 20-minute paid breaks About the Role: We are currently seeking a Machine Operator who is ready to join our team, receive comprehensive training within a supportive environment and explore permanent job prospects. Responsibilities will include: Set up and operate packaging machinery efficiently and safely in accordance with company procedures and guidelines. Monitor and oversee the production line for ready meals and noodles, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to production schedules. Perform regular checks on machinery to ensure proper functioning, promptly reporting any issues or malfunctions to supervisors. Adjust machine settings to regulate speed, size, and other specifications as needed. Load materials into the machines and perform regular quality checks to maintain product standards. Fill up line sheets accurately, recording production data, and maintaining detailed records of quantities produced. Take samples from the production line at specified intervals for quality control purposes. Conduct routine cleaning and maintenance of equipment to ensure cleanliness, safety, and optimal functionality. Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your team. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to achieve production targets and resolve any operational issues promptly. Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and safety regulations at all times. Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications: Proven experience as a machine operator in a manufacturing or food production setting, preferably in dry food industry. Familiarity with operating and troubleshooting production & packaging machinery is highly desirable. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and operating instructions. Great counting, literacy and communication skills Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records. Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing issues. Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities. Knowledge of safety protocols and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
