Axcis Education is seeking a talented and creative SEN Teacher to join a primary SEN school in Waltham Forest (E17). The school supports students with a range of special educational needs, including ASD and Complex Needs. As an SEN Teacher, you’ll play a key role in helping these students develop their academic skills, emotional resilience, and confidence in a safe, nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Teach: Deliver engaging and tailored lessons to primary students with diverse SEN needs.
2. Support: Provide individualised instruction to help students develop their academic abilities and self-confidence.
3. Collaborate: Work closely with the wider team to ensure students receive the necessary support for their success.
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8.20 AM to 4 PM.
Qualifications & Skills:
1. Previous experience in a primary SEN environment or similar setting is preferred but not essential.
2. A passion for teaching and working with primary-aged students with special educational needs.
3. Strong communication skills, with the ability to adapt your approach to meet the individual needs of students.
4. A positive, enthusiastic attitude and a commitment to helping students thrive.
