Key Responsibilities:
As an approved Aircraft Component Fitter, you will play a vital role in the manufacture of high-precision aircraft components. Your responsibilities will include:
Undertaking all aspects of detail fitting, such as riveting, drilling, and sealing, ensuring compliance with engineering standards.
Using handheld and air-powered tools to work with small to medium-sized precision components.
Reading and interpreting technical engineering drawings to ensure components meet exact specifications.
Performing all duties in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and maintaining compliance with master processes and industry standards.
Collaborating with the Team Leader to understand production plans, achieve objectives, and meet deadlines.
Maintaining accurate records to uphold traceability and ensure quality control.
Contributing to and implementing 6S improvements within the workplace.
Adhering to Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) requirements and legislation.
Undertaking training and development initiatives assigned by the Team Leader or Senior Management.Key Skills and Qualifications:
A minimum of Grade C (or equivalent) in GCSE Maths and English.
3+ years’ experience in fitting and assembly, with a preference for aerospace experience.
Candidates from other sectors with transferable skills will also be considered.
Proficient in reading and interpreting technical engineering drawings and working within precise limits and standards of accuracy.
Skilled in using a variety of tools, including drills, rivet milling equipment, and assembly measuring instruments.
Computer literate, with the ability to use MS Office applications effectively.What We Offer:

Work Schedule:
A 4-day working week (Monday to Thursday, 07:15 am to 5:00 pm, totalling 37 hours weekly).
Overtime available at premium rates from Friday to Sunday.
Pay and Allowances:
Overtime rates:
Fridays and Saturdays: 1.5x your basic hourly rate.
Sundays: 2.0x your basic hourly rate
