Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking for an enthusiastic science teacher to join a successful secondary school in Oldham.
This is a full-time permanent teaching role. The role would be very suitable for an ECT.
The Role
1. Teacher of Science
2. Five days a week
3. Delivery of biology, chemistry, and physics with a focus on innovative practical lessons
4. Positive confident classroom management skills with a focus on Assessment for Learning.
5. Innovative teacher able to adapt lessons to the changing needs of students
6. The timetable is largely key stage 3 but the school are able to include year 10 and year 11 classes for specific sciences depending on the successful applicants' skills.
The academy are interested in hearing from Early Career teachers and experienced QTS teachers.

2. Ofsted graded Good since April 2016
3. Teaching is consistently good. Teachers know the pupils well and plan interesting lessons that engage them. They follow the school's marking and feedback policy well, which ensures that pupils know what to do to improve their work. Pupils behave well and enjoy school.

To join us and be successful in this Lead teacher role, you will need to:
1. Hold QTS or QTLS
2. Have the legal right to work full time in the UK
3. This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional references checks
