Recovery Worker
Service Care Solutions are supporting a reputable non-profit provider and they are currently recruiting for a Recovery Worker. As a Recovery Worker, you will play a crucial role by supporting individuals that are suffering from drug and alcohol addiction. The ideal candidate needs to be experienced within the field, highly driven, and able to identify positivity within a service user while developing their potential.
You will be responsible for managing a caseload of clients with substance misuse issues across South Wales. You will engage with adults and families to support them on their road to recovery. You will work closely with a range of partner agencies to help young people achieve positive changes while providing opportunities to improve their life chances for a brighter future.
Key Responsibilities:
* Build relationships with adults and families.
* Provide clients and families with advice, information, and help to access practical support.
* Carry a caseload of clients with substance misuse issues.
* Conduct assessments, care planning, and brief and comprehensive interventions.
Minimum Requirements:
* Experience of working within the substance misuse field.
* Ability to work effectively and efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
* Experience of community engagement.
* Experience of delivering group work.
